Font - Helloscottykitty. 1d Don't feel bad, scams target people at their most vulnerable and the most vulnerable. If she was asking you to pay for say a security licence that's different, only occurred to me but normally that would be something you independently get. Maybe for searches try agency work, terrible contract conditions, everything this sub hates but man's got to eat. 438

And I see this as universal (i.e. anyone can be taken advantage of because of "manners"). Predators prey on the fact that many people think standing up for themselves is rude - and some will even try to tell you it to your face.

Font - NEVER EVER FOR A MINUTE think that looking out for yourself is rude, especially when a faceless company/HR person is on the other end. You wrote a beautiful response to a shitty person and I appreciate you sharing. If someone looks like they're trying to take something from you, screw you, or whatever, just take a step back and don't feel bad about telling them how you feel. If they try to invalidate your feelings....peace out. EDIT: It was Matt Lauer's Character (Matt lauer) that said th

Thank you reddit - I was upset that I missed out on an opportunity but now I feel so much better about this. However, I did send my information to this person (I.e. CV, Passport, phone number) and most likley have a place in the dark Web where u can by my information for £3.50. Reply 620
